The FAQ

Do you Travel?

Photography services are currently provided in the Greater Cincinnati area, which includes Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky (USA).

How long have you been doing this?

I have been specializing in portraiture since 2016.

How many photos do we get?

Depending on the portrait investment, this determines the amount of digital images you will receive. You will also receive a print release with your images. However, as a print photographer, I specialize in creating albums and wall galleries for my clients.

How do we get our photos?

My specialty as a storytelling photographer allows me to create albums and wall galleries printed on archival products that can be passed down for generations. Your digital images will be sent via an email link as a portrait gallery. It is highly recommended that you download and save your gallery to a computer or cloud storage. If you choose, the option to purchase your images on a USB is also available.

Do you retouch photos?

All images taken are professionally retouched to ensure proper lighting, clarity and color. The photographer reserves the right to retouch using creative artistic vision that is unique to Rawls Photography and Design.

Whats your turn around time?

Typically, images are provided within two to four weeks of the session date, depending on the number of photos that must be retouched.

How do we book you?

When you're ready to book, visit the Get In Touch link or Contact page to complete a form. Once I respond within 24 hours, I will also send a questionnaire to get to know you and your needs better prior to booking.

Can you help us with planning?

I can send a Welcome Guide that answers additional questions and delves deeper into preparing for your session. If you have an event and need a coordinator/planner, I am happy to recommend vendors I trust.

How far out do you book?

Clients can book up to six months in advance.

What should we do for an engagement session?

You will need to complete a questionnaire to ensure the date you desire is available on my calendar. Afterward, we will discuss the locations and suggested wardrobe for your session.

What should we wear?

You should always wear clothing that is classic rather than trendy. Colors should complement one another but do not have to match completely. I highly recommend dressier clothing than what you wear every day, and always think about where your final portraits will hang in your home. Layers such as wraps or scarves and hats are also welcome additions that lend variety to portraits. Men always look better in dress slacks with a button-down shirt. Women tend to be more flattering in long flowing dresses. Little boys look great in khakis and polos, while little girls are beautiful in dresses or skirts.
