It's always exciting when the Lord matches the hearts of two people! This couple is also near and dear to my heart since they attend one of our sister churches! Sherri and Brandon, I am so happy for both of them and pray that the Lord bless their upcoming marriage with all His best!
We absolutely love the spot they chose for their portrait session - Glenwood Gardens in Glendale, Ohio. Picturesque ivy and stone walkways make for a lovely backdrop!
Details are so necessary when it comes to being engaged! Look at that lovely ring! Oh, and can't you just feel how much Brandon adores her!
What portrait session would be complete without a lovely keepsake album to treasure for years to come?
We love being able to provide high end albums that our clients will get years of joy from each time they reminisce.
All our albums are professionally printed by a trusted company providing the utmost attention to detail. Look at how thick those pages are!
Did you know that a keepsake album is the perfect way to not only preserve your family story but to add love and charm to your home decor? Your children and grandchildren will never get tired of hearing how the two of you fell in love!
And now, I've saved the best for last - tips for future brides, words of wisdom from Sherri herself! I asked her a few questions and I'll share what she had to say. Great advice when you start planning your own wedding if you're not married yet.
Me: What's your #1 tip for future brides or a problem you've had to deal with while planning your wedding?
Sherri: Think about whether you want to have a large bridal party. I have one and it's been really hard accommodating everyone's schedule.
Me: Where did you get your wedding dress and was it hard to find?
Sherri: I found mine at Splendid, a bridal shop in the Reading Bridal District (Ohio). I knew it was the dress for me when I tried it on, plus my mom and mother-in-law loved it on me as well. Once I found out that the name of the dress was the same as my mother-in-law, I knew that it was the one.
Me: Do you have anything special planned for your wedding ceremony to make it special and unique to you?
Sherri: Brandon will be singing.
Me: How long have you known each other?
Sherri: We've known each other all our lives. I remember when Brandon's mom came to our church. We've grown up together, literally, in the church.
Me: What advice do you have for choosing wedding songs?
Sherri: For me, it wasn't hard choosing songs. I would say to find songs that really fit who you both are and reflect your love for one another.
