- The Wedding of Sherri & Brandon Lindsay -
Friends, it's still hard for me to believe that it's almost 2018! Are you still reeling from that thought too?
Well, folks, this wedding was so beautiful and I'm glad to finally be able to blog about it! There'll be a special video at the end, so make sure you scroll through the photo gallery. It was hard choosing my favorites but I had to make it easy for you to see the highlights of this beautiful wedding. When two people love the Lord and commit their lives to Him first, their marriage is built on a solid foundation right from the start! Combine that with the fact that these two sweethearts grew up together in church makes a match made in heaven - literally!
Enjoy the gallery!
I must say Sherri's aunts and sister in law did such an awesome job on the wedding florals! I loved seeing how her family all came together to make such a beautiful day! And that ring bling is absolutely stunning isn't it?
Brandon's mother lovingly pinned on his boutonniere, a tradition in most weddings. When you add the fact that it was handmade by his sister-in-law to be, then that makes this moment priceless!
If you can't tell, I love wedding details! I also love classic black and white. Brandon's shoes next to her dress make a lovely combination. Sherri said when she found her gown and saw the name of it was the same as her mother-in-law to be, she knew she'd be saying yes to the dress!
One of the reasons I specialize in Apostolic weddings is because I share the same faith. This first prayer moment really touched my heart and it was hard not to shed a tear as I captured this moment. Her bridesmaids made triple sure that he did not see her before the wedding, leading him with his eyes closed to her getting ready room.
The moment of anticipation...
Here come's the bride...and now we present Mr. and Mrs. Brandon Lindsay!
Sherri's maids and matrons of honor were so gorgeous! I was told that one of the vendors said it was the largest wedding party they'd had this year! And the bling on that gorgeous dress is show-stopping!
I wasn't sure what to expect when Sherri wanted to make a tribute to her grandfather after the wedding. We went to the cemetery and I just observed. Words cannot even express how much Bishop Sorrells meant to the entire family and I almost didn't feel like I would do this moment justice. When Sherri and Brandon touched the mausoleum and said, "We did it, grandpa!" it was all I could do to hold back tears. This is one of my favorite moments captured during that special tribute.
The lighting outside was perfect and we caught a few loving moments right there at the mausoleum.
This cake was so delicious (did I mention that I love wedding cake?)!
At the end of the reception, this is the greatest takeaway - two beautiful people who's hearts and lives God has joined that no man can put asunder.
Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Lindsay and may the Lord bless your marriage as only He can! I love you both!
